Following a strategic review in 2021, Russell Bedford International's global network of professional services seeks initiatives to expand it in the areas of DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), ESG (Environmental, Social responsibility, Corporate governance), and CSR (corporate social responsibility).
„We are trying to equip and strengthen our employees so that they and their customers go further towards a better future," comments Stephen Hamlet, CEO Russell Bedford. “Therefore, we firmly believe that companies must adopt principles that will promote the welfare of society and the environment while reducing the negative impact on them.”
As a key element of the strategy, the network launched Social Influence Committee by Russell Bedford, chaired by Michael Sweeney, director of Lee Green & Co member company based in Adelaide.
The Committee's key objectives are:
- • Promote programmes successfully implemented by member companies on a wider network and encourage further involvement of CSR among members.
- • Give recommendations to the global board of directors Russell Bedford on the mission, principles and goals of the network in the field of sustainable development and social responsibility.
- • Inspire and mobilise Russell Bedford to take joint action to address sustainability issues and promote diversity and integration in business and more.
