In this issue of RB Magazine we continue the topic Polish Deal. Since our publications in November, a lot has changed in this regard. The bill is patched, but still without consulting the business.

On the websites of the Ministry of Finance we have a dump of information related to amendments and explanations to Polish Deal. 27 January The Sejm adopted the amendment amending two disputed issues.

After first a new instrument was introduced to support the Institutional Fund for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities and the Institutional Fund for Activities.

Second, the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 7 January on the extension of time limits for the collection and transfer of advances for income tax to the PIT Act.

The regulation states that the amount of the advance for January, in employees or contractors achieving monthly income to 12,800 PLN the gross amount to be collected shall not exceed the amount of the advance calculated on an operating basis up to 31 December 2021 If the employee has received a lower salary for January, he will be compensated.

The collection of an advance on a higher income tax will result in an obligation on the payer to return the difference immediately to the taxpayer.

Thus, employees will receive appropriate adjustments from the payers if the remuneration paid did not take account of the methodology for collecting the advance on income tax described in the Regulation.

The amendment of the Act also confirms that the statement PIT-2 may be lodged in the course of a year and may also be lodged in the event of retirement.

In this issue we are also reminded of the theme of the judges of peace. The vision of their introduction is moving away. So far. 25 January an inter-party subcommittee was set up at the session of the Sejm's committee on Justice and Human Rights to consider draft laws on the courts of peace, which came to the Sejm on behalf of the President's Chancellery in early November. We invite you to read the environmental opinion on the law created in this area.
