From 1 July 2021 there are new VAT rules for e-commerce provided for in the EU e-commerce VAT package.
The new package is intended to facilitate online trade between EU countries, seal VAT on imports of small consignments from outside Europe and ensure fair competition for EU entrepreneurs.
The Ministry of Finance (MF) organised a webinarium on changes in law, during which participants could ask questions on chat.

28 June 2021 The Ministry of Finance organised a free webinarium entitled ‘New VAT rules for e-commerce from 1 July 2021, i.e. e-commerce VAT package in the practice of Polish companies".
The most important topics discussed during the meeting are:
- intra-EU transactions (WSTO, One Stop Shop procedures),
- import of small consignments into the EU (SOTI, Import One Stop Shop, CVT),
- new obligations for digital platforms.
Webinarium was led by Deputy Director of the Department of Taxes from Goods and Services Bartłomiej Kołodziej along with experts from the Ministry of Finance.
