Ministry of Finance (MF) and National Revenue Administration (KAS) launch e-IRS on podatki.gov.pl. In one place, you will be able to tax matters quickly and conveniently, without having to visit the tax office, post office or bank. The service is built in stages until September 2022 first e-service package will be available from 1 February 2021.
The service is dedicated to taxpayers, payers, attorneys, court bailiffs and notaries. With the addition of functionality, the user group will include further mentioned groups. The project is co-financed by the European Funds (Digital Poland Programme). The total value of the project is almost 102,000,000 PLN, of which EU funding approx. 86,000,000 PLN, and the state budget approx. 15,600,000 PLN.

Our goal is to ensure a higher quality of service to our customers and adapt to their needs. Digitization and automation of processes also saves time and greater comfort at the KAS. E-IRS uses modern IT solutions and integrates data from various KAS systems. Such projects are the future of the administration, not only the treasury one," emphasised KAS head Magdalena Rodzikowska.

At first (from 1 February 2021) The e-IRS will offer:
Access to your tax data (taxable data, business activities, tax microaccounts and login history)
Integration with service Twój e-PIT
Information on the mandates imposed
Access to e-microfirm application
The possibility of online payments (at first by individuals in the fields of PIT, CIT, VAT, PCC, inheritance and donation tax, tax card, tax fee, other taxes and non-tax receivables and mandates). Online payment history will be available on the website
The possibility of submitting certain letters in electronic form (e.g. application for overpayment/repayment of tax on other liabilities). History of documents sent will be available
Services and functionalities planned in the following stages include:
- e-certifications
- integration with e-TOLL service
- services to notaries and bailiffs
- services concerning, inter alia, the submission of applications and the provision of information on the state of affairs
Access to the e-IRS service will be possible only from podatki.gov.pl After logging in the Trusted Profile, e-Providence or via electronic banking. Service Twój e-PIT you can also sign in with tax data.
The service works around the clock and you can use any device connected to the Internet.
You will have access to information and services relating to it directly and in subsequent stages also to other taxpayers to whom you have obtained a power of attorney or access to an account.
