Since the pandemic forced companies to adjust their working methods to remote, practically overnight, marketing departments had to accelerate and gain confidence. There is no time for long, slow meetings in comfortable conference rooms. Year 2020 was a year of short, lively zoom meetings, quick thinking and creative problem solving.

Marketing specialists have taken a particularly good place in organizations. They supported communication, both internal and external, and provided a coherent and, most importantly, timely distribution of key messages.

They had to play a leading role in companies around the world – often becoming a binder that keeps departments together and focuses on larger business goals.
