In his practice, a tax adviser often has to entrust his affairs to a lawyer or lawyer. The National Tax Advisory Board has created a project that can change that.
The painful preparation of statements, declarations, in-depth knowledge of the case of a given client, which the advisor acquires as a result of hard work, is often lost because he cannot represent the client before a regional court or before the Constitutional Court.
Counselors with often well established knowledge are forced to obtain a legal title in order to make full use of their competences. This state of affairs is to amend the draft amendment of the Tax Advisory Act, drawn up by the National Board of Tax Advisors and addressed to the Ministry of Finance.
It involves extending the competence of advisors and changing training in this respect.
The main changes proposed by the KRDP are:
- • extending the competence of tax advisers to criminal tax, social security and registration courts, and the right to lodge constitutional complaints,
- • the launch of a new consultative control body that introduces additional privileges for taxpayers,
- • the right to appear before courts in an official dress (toga),
- • Introduction 2-summer applications and changes to the rules for conducting the examination,
- • strengthening disciplinary jurisprudence, including extending the catalogue of penalties to fines.
The advisers, in the opinion of the House, should act in robes, which will help integrate the environment and raise the prestige of the profession, indicating it as a profession of public trust.
