College won't give you a job
In Poland he studies above 1,500,000 people, and the level of unemployment among university graduates is really very high. Many graduating students have a problem finding a job that is consistent with their education. So many students are due to the fact that we still see universities as a guarantor in finding a job.
We forget that the university gives us education and knowledge, not a profession. By obtaining a master's degree, we are not specialists in the field. In fact, we only get a solid base for further development. Very often young Poles think that five years of study is all you need to build your career.
The Master is clear to them with the completion of education. Nothing more wrong! Man should develop constantly deepening his knowledge and experience. Professional work must always be linked to improving its skills.
Take an example from Western countries
In the West, the situation of education is slightly different. First of all, the percentage of graduates is significantly lower than in Poland. Young people see the potential not so much in getting the title as in getting the experience.
Studies are seen as gaining knowledge in a certain area, which should then be developed and specialized during work. Constant development is the natural path of further career.
It is also very important to have employers themselves who do not expect young people to have full experience and expertise, because they want to provide their employees with adequate knowledge through training.
The training services market in Germany is developing very rapidly, as entrepreneurs want to send their employees to various courses. Thus, they can decide to what extent the employee is to specialize and improve his qualifications. It is also worth noting that training always provides the most current knowledge.
Trends change
Despite the fact that in Poland post-graduate education still tends to push into the background, we can slowly notice a change in the right direction. With the economic development of the state and the increase in European integration, Poles begin to notice some differences. We can see that higher education does not always go hand in hand with your dream job or your high pay.
