Verification of the training company is a time-consuming process, and the result often depends on the case. The Development Services Database is intended to help you choose wisely, for the benefit of business.
In early September, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development launched a platform on which there are offers of training, advisory, as well as individual trainers and companies that provide certified vocational training programs. The platform called the Development Services Database is intended to save entrepreneurs time and money.
The development of the company at each stage should take into account the training needs of workers. A wise entrepreneur knows perfectly well that investing in courses or workshops increases the motivation of employees and thus improves their work.
Reliable investment
The development of the company at each stage should take into account the training needs of workers. A wise entrepreneur knows perfectly well that investing in courses or workshops increases the motivation of employees and thus improves their work.
An employee who is on the move, which is constantly being given to us by the government and the changing market, will work more efficiently, without exposing the company to mistakes, often resulting in loss of funds. No one wants to see the company's money leak through the holes of incompetence and ignorance.
The investment in the training department and the use of the necessary trainings is an investment, which returns with interest. But under certain conditions.
Quality wins
Companies often make a fundamental mistake by not verifying the quality of training or doing so smoothly. In recent years, the European Union has supported this approach with extensive funding for training. Long - term managers quickly realized that this was a way to nowhere.
They noted that in most cases EU courses or workshops are of poor quality. They soon stopped using a service that only takes time, not giving in return the knowledge and skills needed. Such a situation could not last long for the benefit of business development, and fortunately there was a chance to change it.
Sito BUR
The rationalisation of the training budget should assume the choice of those which will certainly be useful and their quality will be proportionate to the price.
The Development Services Database is intended to be a better version of Investment in HR. Its draft was drawn up during a public consultation.
A new training verification system as well as new functionality of the database was launched thanks to discussions with individuals interested in lifelong learning and adaptation of businesses and their employees. PARP has prepared quality standards for training.
As of September, offers of these companies are available to pass through the service verification process. Different parameters are assessed – from trainers, quality of content and teaching assistance, to logistics of training. Companies are to be given the opportunity to reach out to such an offer that will fully suit them.
If they do not find one, they can place an order for a service that will be prepared under the dictate of the selected parameters. A new system is the evaluation of training, so that you can select companies by command.
Out of my own pocket
The rationalisation of the training budget should assume the choice of those which will certainly be useful and their quality will be proportionate to the price.
Since the way in which training has been co-financed so far has not worked and even deterred from investing in staff training, PARP has not financed training directly since September, but through the BUR system. Funds will be returned to a much smaller extent than before, in order to encourage companies to spend them wisely.
Paradoxically, this is an opportunity for the whole market as companies investing in training their own funds will seek the high quality of the services purchased.
If BOR works in practice, time will tell. However, this is a step in the right direction to inflate the quality of training market services, with them increasing the profitability of Polish business.
