The indebted information system, the National Debt Register, is to enter into force in early December. The system is in the testing stage.
In an interview with Journal Gazeta Prawna Michał Woś, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice, declares that the deadline 1 December 2021 the entry into force of the CRS is final. Let us remind you that the system already had two entry dates – 1 December 2020 and 1 July 2021. This time, after tests, among others, the National Board of Restructuring Advisors is to actually enter into force, considerably simplifying restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings, and improving the recovery of maintenance.
The CRS is to enter by amendment of the Act of 28 May 2021 on the amendment of the Act on the National Debt Register and some other laws, OJ of 2021 In one place it is to be a register of bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings. It will also show maintenance debts.
The register is to be an information portal to which everyone will be able to enter and check information about the indebted institutions and companies as well as individuals. As a result, the parties to the proceedings will have access to the continuous system.
The question is how the information provided will be protected in terms of the protection of personal data, including sensitive data.
At this moment the system is still in the testing phase, so far in the version without real progress, so its functionality will be real only after starting in December.
