At a particular time since March last year, restructuring proceedings are one from the most important areas for business development. Unfortunately, in Poland it is strongly limping. Entrepreneurs demand that the implementation of EU law be implemented as a matter of urgency.
In the March Synthesis issue 2021 We are looking closer at restructuring law. In the news on our website, we have pointed out that the EU directive on restructuring and bankruptcy ((EU) Directive 2017/1132) is implemented in Poland too slow. The Enterprise Council therefore called on the government to implement it as soon as possible.
Since this year, the provisions of the revised CIT Act have entered into force, which limit the settlement of losses of the taxpayer carrying out restructuring operations (more on the website 6).
Good news is that we are still seeing a strong digitalisation of the ministry of finance and justice. We describe this on an ongoing basis, but we also note that there is no central news of these changes that could be presented at the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
