In 2020 HR will focus more than ever on the unit. She will offer her personalised recruitment stages, show kindness and care for health, and also seek to eliminate gender or race differences. Companies will focus on ergonomics, which will be possible by analyzing employee performance. More key posts will be filled by people who have not yet been associated with the organisation. Employment will also be done through the command system.

The end of the year in the recruitment industry abounded in modern technology. There were many tools available on the market that allowed for remote recruitment. In the same way, the competence and skills of candidates could also be checked. For this purpose, on-line tests, ATS were used. Artificial intelligence has also improved data analysis. In 2020 automation will still be a strong trend, but HR will be very personalizing. An individualised approach, including in digitized HR systems, will be fashionable.

Personalisation

A few years ago, HR focused on standardisation. An example is the starting recruitment, where at first an organisational structure with hierarchy and well-defined tasks is presented to the employee. It's starting to go to the lame, now we'll focus on each individual separately.

Personalization cannot be called a name in the news, it's just a courtesy phrase. During the recruitment process, candidates should be given information that concerns them directly (name of position, employer, project, customer service, public appearance).

Over the years, the attitude of employers towards employed people has increasingly changed. There are far fewer programmes addressed to groups, and attention has been paid to individual needs, wishes and opportunities of candidates. The company is made up of people. Not a single crowd, a specific person.

Command system

This trend is only gaining popularity in Poland, but it is worth paying attention to it due to the fact that employee commands can benefit each party. The employee receives a prize, feels motivated and appreciated. It gives a friend a chance to get a job. The company gains commitment and positive image.

The whole process must be thought out and planned. first The step to be taken before the implementation of the command system is to look at the employer's internal brand and see how much our employees are willing to recommend us. The best ambassadors of the organization are satisfied employees. The target group must then be designated.

It is important to clarify the short and long-term objectives we want to achieve. A strategy will be needed, including the selection of recommendations awards, promotion campaigns and communication activities. In order for the programme to produce results, transparent communication within the company and clear rules are needed.

Kindness

There is no doubt that HR departments have contact with a large number of new people every day. They are the driving force behind the value of kindness. There are many indications that 2020 several simple measures will be implemented in more jobs, reflecting kindness.

An example is a day off for employees on their birthday, a nice welcome package or a set that will help the sick worker recover faster. Companies will be more willing to offer wellness programs. They will see that only benefits can come from encouraging their staff to care for their health.

This approach has shown that absenteeism and rotation rates are much lower and commitment increases. The courtesy of HR is increasing, and this is a promising trend for the coming years.

Team leader from outside

There are many advantages to recruiting people from outside the company for important jobs. With this solution, the leader will have a fresh look at the company and its policy, he will not be involved in informal relations.

The company will be able to benefit from a large range of knowledge of the new employee who had the chance to gain it on the external labour market (local, national, international). In addition, there will be a possibility of changing the nature of the organisation. Next year we'll be more open to change.

However, it is worth remembering that not in all sectors this method will prove fruitful.

Equalisation of racial and gender differences

In many countries the differences between men and women in the workplace are still large. The same applies to differences between white and colored people. The differences are getting smaller, but it's a very slow process. 2020 promote more aggressive action to reduce these differences, which is due to the fact that the soft approach seems to be ineffective. For example, the University of Eindhoven has announced that vacancies for academic teachers are open to women only for the time being.

Increasing productivity

In recent years, there has been little focus on the productivity of workers. To improve the company's performance, new people were recruited. In order to find more candidates as soon as possible, the criteria in job offers were reduced. The newly employed were not as productive as the previous crew.

This also involved having to hire more managers. It's a vicious circle that increases recruitment costs. In 2020 more companies will analyse employees, which will help find the characteristics of the best performing people and teams, and – improve conditions that promote the highest performance.

When productivity increases, it takes fewer people to provide the same results.

Less role of HR staff

HR Trend Institute predicts that the number of jobs in HR departments will decrease as automation levels increase. The work done so far by talent providers has been entrusted with search engines and candidate tracking systems.

Eco trend

In 2020, As in almost all areas of life and market sectors, we will see a focus on nature protection. Companies will be legally obliged to act in this area, e.g. through the BDO system (waste data base), and will respond to common initiatives such as climate traffic. Employees will be encouraged or obliged to save paper, water or electricity, as well as to use various types of green solutions.

In the coming year, human resource management is intended to focus on restoring the balance, which is hampered by the strongly interfering automation market. We will strive to keep her in the service of an employee, to increase productivity and to help put new challenges on a highly technologically advanced 21st century.
