12–13 September 2019 at Hotel Mrągowo Resort & SPA will hold a conference on the series “MAZURY TO BUSINESS”. Since the beginning, we have been sponsoring this initiative to abolish barriers to entrepreneurship in Mazury, Poland and Europe. The conference will be attended by experts and practitioners representing business, science and media, including patron Andrzej Dmowski. We strongly encourage you to join this unique event.

The statuette, as well as the nomination for the Business Leader Award, will be a distinction for local entrepreneurs who have not only been successful, but also in their daily business activities are guided by principles of fairness and business integrity. This. first edition of KWJM competition. Entrepreneurs operating in the area of Great Mazury Lakes are nominated: the towns of Giżycka, the municipalities of Giżycko, Milek, Orysz, Ruciany-Nida, Mikołajek, Mrągowo, Rynu, Węgorzewa and Pisz.
To participate in the next 3rd Economic and Investment Conference under the name “Mazury to Business” implemented under the project “7 Mazur’s Miracles – Economic Promotion of the Great Mazury Lakes” invites the Association of Great Mazury Lakes 2020. first to third two-day conferences were held last year in September in Pisz, in November in Giżyck and third, Sort of summarizing the project – in Mragowo.
The conference is addressed to entrepreneurs from the Great Lakes of Mazury as well as other regions, as well as institutions supporting business development, researchers and representatives of labour market institutions, educational institutions, student organizations, industry journalists of national and foreign writings, bloggers dealing with economic and financial issues.
Representatives of local, regional, national and foreign authorities, representatives of local government units supported by the project, i.e. 11 communes from the Great Mazury Lakes: Giżycka, Giżycko, Węgorzewa, Miłek, Orzysza, Pisa, Ruciany-Nida, Mikołajek, Mrągowo, Mrągowo and Rynu.
The conference is also a great opportunity to participate in B2B and B2A format meetings and backroom talks with speakers. There will be no shortage of expert panels, debates and individual consultations with speakers. The conference will include lectures on the following topics:
- • Polish business without barriers – how to help Polish entrepreneurs
- • How to expand wings in business in Mazury – they were successful – local companies with global reach
- • Corporate social responsibility – profits for entrepreneurs, long-term activities
- • Can good staff be raised in KWJM? Examples of cooperation between education and local entrepreneurs, creation of patronage classes, good practices from the region.
The main objective of the conference is to strengthen the image of the Great Lakes of Mazury as an attractive place for business in Central, North and Eastern Europe, to present investment offers of local entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from other regions of Poland and local government units from the Great Lakes of Mazury and to build a network of cooperation of local business sector operating in this area, as well as cooperation of enterprises and local governments.
The event is under the patronage of such institutions as the National Centre for Research and Development, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Warmia-Mazury Marshal Office in Olsztyn, the Warmia-Mazury Regional Development Agency or the organization: Business Centre Club and Russell Bedford Poland.
