The Ombudsman's Office asked the Ministry of Climate and Environment for a position on the omission in the so-called coal law of people using organic fuels.
Every person heating his house with coal or carbon fuel gets 3,000 PLN Special supplement. It is not received by citizens using green fuels such as gas, electricity or heat pumps. This is discriminatory for all those who, in a sense of environmental responsibility, invested in green heating installations
The RPO has already appeared to the MKiŚ on omitting people using the so-called wood pellets (sprayed wood waste, e.g. sawdust, chips) in the government's draft law on specific solutions to protect consumers of certain solid fuels in relation to the situation on the market of these fuels.
It is now also about explaining the lack of simultaneous project on funding for citizens heating their homes differently, such as gas, electricity or heat pumps.
Citizens read the lack of such solutions as discrimination against people who, in a sense of environmental responsibility, have decided to invest in green heating installations.
