26 April Every year, World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated. For this reason, the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys has organised the Internet IP Week for the second consecutive year, which takes place in days 25-29 April.

Organized events

IP Week 2022 will be held mostly online. During these few days, patent attorneys and special guests, such as Polish scientists, will appear. The content will be presented in the form of live performances, columns, lectures and trainings. Classes are dedicated primarily to entrepreneurs who can obtain useful information during them. The invitation is also addressed to universities and secondary schools.

PIRP underlines the role of innovation

This year, the outbreak of war in Ukraine significantly influenced the organisation of this event. The organizers decided to show how important technology and innovation are in our lives. During speeches, attention is paid to the fact that state-of-the-art technologies help fight for a safe environment, health, freedom and peace.

Individual panels will include geoinformatics, digital technology in animation of culture or patenting computer software. Nor will issues relating to the mere pursuit of the profession of patent attorney be left out.

Opening day of the firm

As part of the week devoted to intellectual property, a pro bono day will be organised. These advices will be provided by selected patent attorneys who have been placed on the list on www.pirp.org.pl.
