Resort is working on a law that will improve online controls. Draft regulation (from 23 February 2021) The Minister of Finance, Funds and Regional Policy on image or sound preservation for customs and tax control shall specify the types of equipment and technical means to capture the image/sound for customs and tax control purposes and the means to store, reproduce and copy records.

The new regulations are intended to speed up control activities and reduce spending by interviewing the witness using technical devices enabling this activity to be carried out at a distance with a direct transmission of image and sound.

The activities may be carried out by an officer serving in the KAS organisational unit competent for the place where the controlled or the witness is resident. The hearing shall be recorded by means of an imaging and sound recording device.

Minutes shall be drawn up from the hearing, the content of which is limited to the record of the most relevant statements of the persons involved. The recording of the image and sound is an annex to the protocol. Controlled has the right to receive, at his own expense, one a copy of the recording of the sound or image.

The new regulations will enter into force the day after the publication in the Official Journal of the Laws.
