suspension of collection of the fair fee in the year 2021
There was also a demand to extend the shield, including the postponement of the entry into force of the Employee Capital Plans Act at the end of next year and the inclusion of 100% sickness benefit hospitalised or quarantined because of COVID-19, which would be paid out of ZUS funds.

The selected forms of aid will be available to companies classified under the following PKD designations: 47.71.Z, 47.81.Z, 47.82.Z, 47.89.Z, 56.10.A, 56.10.B, 56.29.Z, 56.30.Z, 59.11.Z, 74.20.Z, 77.21.Z, 82.30.Z, 85.51.Z, 86.90.A, 86.90.D, 90.01.Z, 90.02.Z, 93.11.Z, 93.13.Z, 93.19.Z, 93.21.Z, 93.29.A, 93.29.B, 93.29.Z, 96.04.Z, This includes retail sale of clothing or retail sale of textile products on stalls and markets.
Proposals by the Senate committees
At a meeting of the Committee on Family, Senior and Social Policy and National Economy and Innovation, Adam Abramowicz, a spokesman for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, appealed to Senators.
He argued that these provisions would determine the fate of many Poles, and "if the state completely closes business activities, then it is responsible for this closure". He assessed that compensation should go in the form of compensation, and this bill is a form of compensation and must not overlook people who have closed companies.
He pointed out that sending aid only to companies whose business is included in 33 codes of the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD), omit many companies that cannot operate, although this has not been formally prohibited.
As an example, he pointed out the activities of school shops and advertising agencies specialised in handling trade fairs, events and meetings. "An amendment is needed to take these activities into account" - he stressed. He informed Senators that the Ombudsman's Office had prepared a list after consultation 40 the codes from which the companies are closed and not covered by compensation.
The Senators took the Ombudsman's view into account and proposed to extend the industry shield to include:
- catering companies,
- advertising agencies,
- dietetics,
- certain transport companies,
- the hotel industry,
- hire and leasing of certain machinery,
- tourist agents,
- tour operators,
- companies organizing artistic projects,
- companies organizing puzzle rooms and some entertainment and recreational activities.
Partial support of these demands was declared by Marek Niebożak, a representative of the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology, who advocated expanding support for catering and transport companies, but against assistance to advertising agencies, nutritionists, rental and leasing companies for certain machinery
