Once a year the RBI network meets to share knowledge, exchange experiences and contacts between members from around the world. In the coronavirus era, the meeting was not possible in real life, therefore in days 14–15 May 2020 held in remote mode.
The first online conference participated above 200 representatives of member companies from the law 60 countries. The event was opened by Bruce Saward, global chairman of RBI and managing partner at Saward Dawson. Then we could listen to interesting lectures and participate in international discussions.
The lecture Innovation as a service was led by Ed Frank, CEO of Axis Innovation, focused on the taxation of the digital economy by Tatiana Falcao of the European University Institute, a review of current international tax issues by Jeremy Mindell, director of Primondell Ltd.
Sharon Abrahams of Legal Talent Advisors LLC stopped the participants' attention on a very important issue, namely emotional intelligence, which is particularly important in business in a time of crisis.
We are delighted to be able to attend the conference and hope to meet our colleagues live next year.
