The training concerns practical aspects of the functioning of Alternative Investment Companies (ASI).
The aim of the training is to present issues related to the functioning of ASI in Poland, as one of the most favourable ‘investment vehicles’ to raise funds from many investors, in order to place them in a favourable location. The basics and practical information provided during the training will enable participants to learn about the benefits of collective investment activities based on ASI. Participants will be able to make an informed decision on the choice of an investment activity model.
Benefits
During the training, participants will learn about practical aspects of the functioning of ASI. In particular, each participant shall:
- • acquire knowledge of the establishment and registration procedure of the ASI and the registration procedure before the KNF;
- • acquire knowledge of how to raise capital based on ASI, the operation and management of ASI;
- • will acquire knowledge of the cost of operating ASI and the tax benefits resulting from the model of investment activity based on ASI;
- • will acquire knowledge of the responsibility of board members, supervisory board, key managers for investment activities; thus, it will be able to make an informed decision on the choice of an investment model using ASI.

The training shall be addressed to all persons involved in carrying out investment activities, in particular:
- • board members, supervisory boards, managers of investment firms;
- • persons responsible for the investment policy of companies;
- • persons operating ASI;
- • investors.
