In days 17–21 October 2018 International Conference took place in New York Russell Bedford International. The annual conference was also an occasion to celebrate 35 years of operation of the group.
The conference was hosted by Spielman Koenigsberg&Parker, a New York company that contributed to the great organization of the session as well as the entertainment part. The meeting was welcomed by Bill Rucci, president of the RBI. Branding workshops Russell Bedford led Tony Carey from a member company Russell Bedford International, based in Dublin.
The international team shared experiences and valuable knowledge. The lectures were conducted by Christopher Arnold of the New York IFAC company, Ron Quaranta- president of Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, LeeFrederiksen – partner at Hinge Marketing and Allan Koltin from Koltin Consulting Group.
Topics were raised on the challenges and opportunities faced by small and medium-sized enterprises. It also wondered how changes in digital money could affect our future.
Timothy Crockford and Jack Gerstein from London's Clyde & Co law firm led one from more interesting sessions on Building and Development of International Work: Risk Management.
Florence Joffroy-Black and Dave Sheppard, from MedWorld Advisors, merger and acquisition specialists for the health care sector, led the workshop: "Strategic outputs: start from the beginning".
Jaap de Waard, head of business development in Europe and the Middle East at CaseWare International Inc, discussed how the company can improve audit and accounting processes using new technologies.
In the entertainment part, guests could make valuable contacts and have fun during wonderful concerts, lavish dinners as well as galas for the occasion 35-the existence of a group. Stephen Hamlet, CEO RBI, compared the network to a city that never sleeps.
He also presented what he thought was best in the whole event: "It wasn't just an amazing high-class entertainment; it wasn't fantastic expert lectures providing insight into current topics; it was not a cruise overlooking the Statue of Liberty and the panorama of New York; it wasn't even a wonderful, festive dinner with waiters, music, exquisite food and wine....
and it wasn't even a fantastic presentation by the CEO of how amazing a year we had;-) They were... people. Russell Bedford! Their energy was contagious."
